‘The Last Dance’: Lamborghini Huracán STJ is Faster and Uber Limited

The ultimate collector’s edition Lamborghini Huracán has been revealed as the Lamborghini Huracán STJ with plenty of Super Trofeo nods and a limited production run of just 10 vehicles. It’s the cherry on top for the V10 super sports car that finished its production run with the hardcore STO, off-road Sterrato, and street-focused Tecnica. However, the Sant’Agata Bolognese outfit has kept a limited production vehicle up its sleeve to send off the vehicle before its hybridized update is announced at the end of the year.

The Huracán STJ (Super Trofeo Jota) takes the track-focused STO and turns things up to eleven. It starts with a dedicated aerodynamic package developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians. This includes the addition of “cofango”: two all-new carbon fibre aerodynamic appendages (flicks), and a sharper rear-wing with a 3° increase in angle to increase aerodynamic load by 10% while maintaining balance.

Next on the chopping block were the standard active shock absorbers, replaced by a set of four adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers. These are four-way adjustable to optimize the rebound and compression at both high and low frequencies while giving

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that the maximum power output of 640 CV at 8000 rpm and 565 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm carry over from the STO. This is controlled by the same 7-speed dual-clutch (LDF – Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels only. To maximize the driving dynamics (and grip with this RWD set-up) special Bridgestone Potenza Race tyres have been developed with a specific high-grip compound and installed on 20-inch single-nut rims.

All of these changes add up and the Lamborghini Huracán STJ is more than one second quicker than the Huracán STO around the Nardò Technical Center Handling Track.

Those who are lucky enough to be offered the chance to buy one of these 1-of-10 creations have the choice of two different configuration and livery options:

  1. Grigio Telesto (grey) bodywork combined with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details. Inside, Nero Cosmus (black) Alcantara seats with leather details and contrasting Rosso Alala (red) stitching.
  2. Blu Eliadi (blue) bodywork with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details.

Both versions come with a numbered carbon fibre plate marked “1 of 10”. In addition, there is the option to add a custom plate on the passenger side according to the customer’s instructions. Pricing and availability for the Australian market have not been announced, but if you didn’t get a call from your Lamborghini dealer, you probably missed out.
